Family is so important to us at United Credit Union. And a big part of family is family meals. Here are some of our staff’s favorite holiday recipes:
Pralines
- 1 and ½ C Brown Sugar
- 2/3 C Half and Half
- 2 Tbs Butter
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 1 and ½ cup pecans
- Mix all ingredients together, except the pecans. Cook 4 minutes in microwave – Stir – then cook 4 more minutes. Remove and add pecans. Stir until changes color and drop by spoonful on parchment paper to harden.
Christmas Classic: Red Hot – Cinnamon Cider
- 1 C Red Hots
- 1/2 Gallon Apple Cider
- 5-6 Cinnamon sticks
- Mix ingredients together and cook, stirring occasionally. Easy to fix on stove top, slow cooker, or percolator.
Snickerdoodle Cookies
